Sport Grant Allocation
PRIMARY SCHOOL PE PREMIUM STATEMENT
During the school year of 2016-2017, the school has received £6193 to improve the quality of sport and PE provision at Manchester Road Primary Academy. Our vision is to create a culture that encourages all children to be active and have positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles. The impact of this funding will be measured by school and progress of pupils will be highlighted.
We believe high quality physical education and school sport will contribute to a range of outcomes for our children. Not only does it equip young people with physical literacy while supporting their physical development, movement skills and body confidence, but it also contributes to their physical, mental and social well-being.
More specifically the funding has been /will be predominantly targeted in the following ways:SportsPrem20162017
The impact of the spending is summarised below…
The areas of spending are allocated with careful thought as to how the development can be sustained. Many areas of the spending are about developing staff expertise to enable this knowledge to be shared and disseminated through staff training. The school budget is allocated so as to be able to continue providing opportunities to all children should the funding cease.
