What a busy and fun filled first full week! The children are beginning to settle in well and are getting used to their new environment and teachers.

This week we have been focusing on learning our new rules and routines as well as exploring the areas in the classroom and our outdoor area. Children have enjoyed the home corner, building their own towns, creating bracelets in the workshop, practising cutting skills, using the obstacle course and much more.

During focus sessions and on the carpet we have look at counting in order forwards and backwards to 10 and introduced the book I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato by Lauren Child and discussed healthy and unhealthy food. We have also been very lucky to start balance bike lessons. Rabbits and Hedgehogs loved practising their bike riding skills.
