At Manchester Road we value the contribution that parents make to the education of children at our school. We are constantly looking for ways to improve, and our regular parent questionnaires always show us ways in which we can do that!
We are always looking for parents to help out in school – whether it’s reading, helping out with trips, or coming in to do jobs with the children… if you think you have regular time to give to school, please pop in and speak to Mrs Taylor or Mrs Dean in the office – they can sort out the necessary paper work, and we’d love to see you!
Below is a parent helper guide, and a visitors leaflet to give you more information about helping out in school.

Staff are always available if you would like to talk about your children’s learning – just make an appointment, or ask at the end of the day… morning time can be very busy, so we ask that parents wait until the end of the day to see the staff!
If at anytime you have concerns about school, please speak to the class teacher or Key Stage Leader – who will do everything they can to help. Our main concern is that the children are happy and learning well.
