We continued with Bear Snores On and began looking at hibernation and what animals hibernate. We answered why questions, explored the different animals, used mark making skills to draw spikes on the hedgehog. In Maths, we looked at size and ordered items by their size. We used language big, medium and small. In phonics we learnt the 'd' sound.

This week children have enjoyed playing in the play dough, finger painting autumn trees, using the magnifying glasses to look at a picture and discuss what they see, using the torch in our den and playing autumn bingo outside.

Learning Hero

Each week we have a BLP Learning Hero, our Learning Hero is a child who has shown one or more of our 4 R learning powers (reciprocity, resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness).

This weeks Learning Heroes are Evie (AM) and Zain (PM).

Elsie, George, Anthony, Evie and Hollie have completed 3 challenges this week to get a certificate!

Well done to you all!
