Hi everyone,
A shorter week this week but still one filled with many learning opportunities!
This week in English we have been continuing to use the book The Nowhere Emporium. We used role play to understand how victims of bullying may feel and continued with our next two plot points. We have been adding and subtracting decimals using column method in maths.
We have also been learning all about life cycles including the mammal, bird and insect life cycles. Our topic for this term is rivers. In groups, we made a model of a river labelling the different parts in the upper, middle and lower course. These looked fantastic! In PSHE, we learned about what to do in an emergency situation and how to put someone in the recovery position.
Friday was photo day for the children. You will receive the forms to purchase these soon.
PE is on a Thursday so can the children attend school in their PE kits on this day. Boosters will continue for now.
