We have begun our new topic this week, Autumn/Winter and Hibernation. Our topic book is Bear Snores on and we have been reading our book and really getting to know the story in literacy. We have joined in with the story, predicted what may happen and described the character. We also made a cave in MYM using splatting and pinching techniques with the dough.

In Maths, we have begun looking at numerals 3 and 4 and their representations. We have also been practicing counting in order to 20. Children have also learnt the sounds ‘a’ and ‘s’ to add to ‘c’ and ‘m’ and have been learning how to orally blend.

We had a fabulous Friday dressing in our PJs to raise money for Children in Need. We learnt a little bit about what it is about.

Learning Hero

Each week we have a BLP Learning Hero, our Learning Hero is a child who has shown one or more of our 4 R learning powers (reciprocity, resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness).

This weeks Learning Heroes are Amber (AM) and Zahra (PM).

. Only Elsie completed 3 challenges this week to get a certificate! Let’s aim for some more next week.

Well done to you all!
