Our nativity rehearsals are going brilliantly! The script-free rehearsals are going well. Please ensure you bring back your child’s slip, so we know who is coming to the evening performance. There are only 4 school days until the nativity. It is so important that the children learn and memorise their lines. Our songs and dances are amazing - we need our acting to be great too!! Letters have gone home about any additional items of clothing that may be needed. Our dress rehearsal is next week so please bring them in or let us know if you need any help.

In English, we began our research on Nocturnal animals. In Maths, we worked on number bonds to 100, and adding three 1-digit numbers. In PSHE we identified people who could help you if you were being bullied. In RE, we continued to learn about the 3 Wise Men. In DT, we learnt about chassis and how wheels and axis can work in them.

Our attendance this week was 92.7%, which is not in line with expectations. We also had 8 late marks. Remember, learning starts at 8:45!

Our learning hero this week was Jake, for his excellent work in Maths. Antonia was on the extraordinary zone for her fantastic Maths. Benjamin got to take Smarty Bear home, as he always works incredibly hard across all lessons. Our Handwriting Hero was Matthew for consistent presentation in his handwriting. Our championship winners were Charlie T, Evie and Oscar, while Respect was once again the winning house.
