We have had an extremely busy week in year 3, which culminated in our performance of our play script. The children id amazingly well and it was lovely to see so many parents and carers there. Thank you to everyone who came to watch the children. I was so proud of them all !

We have now completed our In to the Forest text and are looking forward to our new power of reading text to be revealed after the half term holiday!

Next week in English, we will be working on aspects of grammar and a new text for Eco week- Super frog and the Big Stink.

In maths, we will be working on tables and charts in our statistics unit of learning.

Our topic work is based on Droylsden and leads nicely into the Victorians.

We have completed our unit on magnets in science and move on to light next half term.

ECO week is next week when the year 3 children will be learning all about pollution.

Our learning hero this week was Maison for demonstrating resilience in his writing, Championship winners this week were Cherish, Daisy, Maison and Sonia.

We will be swimming every Monday up until the Easter holidays. PE is every Wednesday. Please ensure your child has all the correct kit for these curriculum subjects.

Attendance in our class still needs to improve so that it is at the national expected average of 97%. REMEMBER! EVERY DAY MATTERS. EVERY DAY COUNTS.
