This week in English, we have been writing a diary in the role of Toby. We will finish these and present them next week. Some of the vocabulary used is amazing. The children have loved being writers and are super proud of their work. We will share some on lint next week,
During mathematics lessons we have been getting to grips with multiplication and using pictures and arrays to help us solve problems. We will continue with this next week by linking our learning to the 2,5 and 10 times tables. Keep practising please.
In ict we looked at ways of determining wether websites are reliable or unreliable.
In PSHE we worked as teams to achieve a goal. We had to make the tallest tower possible. However the real goal was working successfully as a team member and realising how much better this can be when we work together.
Next week we will complete practise SATS papers. This will give the children an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the format and layout of these assessments. We will endeavour to ensure the children feel comfortable, the children will be encouraged to work at their own pace and we will support them throughout the process. However if you have any questions please pop in and ask.
Attendance improved last last week to 95%. However this is still bellow the expected figure of at least 97%. Please continue to work with us to improve this.
Don’t forget to send your child in there’re own clothes on Friday. We are dressing in the colours of the Rainbow flag to show our to the LBGT community.
