Another busy week of full of new learning! The children have shown lots of resilience and absorption in their learning!
In English we have been continuing to read the book the adventures of Odysseus. We have been looking at figurative language and using this to plan storm poems. In maths, we have continued to look at place value going up to numbers up to 1 million!
The children have been understanding why we have day and night and what causes the seasons in our science lessons. In art we have been looking at two potters: Harrison McIntosh and Ergotimos.
PE is on a Wednesday - the children are to come to school in their PE kit.
Championship winners this week:
Silver: Aicha and Bethany
Bronze: Nathan, Charlotte and Regan
5A - Charlotte
5B - Charlotte
Homework is posted on teams every Friday - work should uploaded onto teams and not brought into school.
