What a fantastic start to our year in Little Owls. We are so pleased with all our children and how much they have come on in these 8 weeks. We have done so much and learnt so many things. From Nursery Rhymes, counting and numbers to dough discos and Spark your Speeches. We hope the children have enjoyed their start to Nursery as much as we have.

In our final week we have been reading 'We all went on Safari'. Looking at different animals and counting them. We used the book to say the animals names in Swahili and count in Swahili too. We have been looking at numbers 1 and 2 and the different ways they can be represented (numicon, fingers, tens square etc). We continued with alliteration and some of us have been learning some letter sounds. (c and m).

Learning Hero

Each week we have a BLP Learning Hero, our Learning Hero is a child who has shown one or more of our 4 R learning powers (reciprocity, resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness).

This weeks Learning Heroes are Lewis (AM) and Lennon (PM). We also found out who our Gold Card Champions are. Gold Card Champions are children who have been showing their 3 P's (Pride, Positivity and Politeness) throughout the half term. Our Champions are Evie and Sophia. Well done to you all!
