We have continued with Bear Snores On this week but become group authors by changing the main character to another hibernating animal. Mornings chose a Hedgehog and Afternoons voted for a ladybird. We changed the names of the stories and retold them with the new characters. We have been looking at the changes autumn brings, painting and mixing colours, counting out objects, practicing saying our sounds and writing them, drawing hibernating animals and enjoying dough disco.
We have started with some Christmas spirit too. Practicing songs for our Nativity and making decorations.
Learning Hero
Each week we have a BLP Learning Hero, our Learning Hero is a child who has shown one or more of our 4 R learning powers (reciprocity, resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness).
This weeks Learning Heroes are Che (AM) and Sophia (PM).
Elsie, Cobey, Hezzy, Anthony, Evie, Lewis and Hollie have completed 3 challenges this week to get a certificate! Well done for fantastic independent learning.
Well done to you all!
