Another busy week has gone past in a flash! It has been filled with fantastic learning and the children have been working as hard as they always do

English

We are completing our pay scripts this week and the beginning of next, ready to perform them for you all next Friday.

Maths

We have begun our unit on money in maths. Please allow your child to handle money and pay in the shops so that they can begin to add amounts, subtract amounts and work out change

School  pays for online resources such as Active Learn https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login?c=0 and Times Table Rockstars https://ttrockstars.com/

The children should be accessing these as much as they possibly can to aid their comprehension skills and rapid recall in maths.

In science, we are continuing with our mini topic on magnets.

Our topic remains "Droylsden Detectives" until Easter. The children will be linking this topic to Victorian Britain.

Learning hero this week: Jennifer for being a great all rounder and a pleasure to have in the class

Championship winners:Danny (gold) Robin, Marley and Cherish, (silver) and Jennifer and Daisy bronze.

CLASS ATTENDANCE: This is very poor (94%). Please make sure you send your child to school every day. If they become too ill to remain in school, we will send them home.
