What a bitty week it has been! Well done to 2A for working so hard in my absence.

In English, we wrote a letter from a Toby, to warn his friend not to come to London. We have also learned about conjunctions, contractions and suffixes. Please complete the task set on ActiveLearn about suffixes in the grammar bug section.

In Maths, we have completed our unit of work on money, and have began our unit of work on multiplication. Please practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and encourage your child to access timetables rock stars in order to improve their skills.

In history, we thought about why the fire spread so rapidly in 1666. We also thought about what they have done differently when they rebuilt London. In PSHE we practised our skills that we chose last week. In RE, we learned about the Torah, and thought about what is special to us.

Our attendance last week was 98.7%, well done for being above our school target. We also had 7 late marks. Remember, learning starts at 8:45!

Our learning hero this week was Lexie, for fantastic independence in writing. Amelia got to take Smarty Bear home, as she is now working independently. Our Handwriting Hero was Darcey, for using joins in her extended writing. Our winning house was Respect.
