Welcome to Manchester Road!

We've had our first full week and all the children have been brilliant.  They've settled in very well, we're so very proud of them.

We are very grateful to the parents and carers who have been leaving their children at the door, or wearing a mask to come into school.  There have been a few bumps over the past few days finding the best way to do things but next week will be a doddle!

Our topic this half term is Food Glorious Food!  We're learning all about how to make healthy choices and thinking about ourselves and our home.  The children will be learning lots of nursery rhymes about food and we're hoping to put a little video of them performing on Teams later on in the term.

In maths were starting off with numbers 1-5, and learning lots of songs to help us count.

It can be a little hectic at dropping off and picking up times - if you need to talk to us, please do wait a little until most of the children have gone or email/phone us, or if it's a general question we check Teams each day.

Attendance: Congratulations to the Nursery and Rabbits who got 100% attendance in the first week.  Hedgehogs will be catching you up soon, I'm sure!

We are looking forward to another great week.

Best wishes

Mrs Frost, Miss Collinson & Mrs Higginbotham
