Good afternoon!

Welcome to this week's blog! It's the final week of the first half term and has been yet another busy one.

The children finished their mythical stories on Monday and wow, what stories they were!  Absolutely full of tension and action throughout.  We were really pleased with the results and the passion that they put into their writing.  They then completed sessions on teams to help them with their home learning.  We are hoping to see many more of the children completing homework over the holidays and uploading onto the assignment pages after being shown what to do in school.

In maths, we were studying statistics and in particular line graphs.  This will be continued the first week back after half term where they will be reading and interpreting line graphs and different tables and then solving problems.

We finally produced our clay pots in art and the end results are just fantastic!  They used the skills that we have practiced creating a base and then coils before smoothing and pinching together.  They then painting them orange and then designed Greek patterns to paint on.  We will post pictures onto teams and and on twitter so that you can see the end results!

PE  will be moving to a Thursday after the holidays so please make sure the children attend school in their PE kits on this day.
