Hi everyone,
We've had an exciting week this week with lots of activities going on. The Year 3 disco on Wednesday was brilliant and it was so lovely to see so many of you there! We hope you all had lots of fun.
On Friday, we had a Christmas craft and art day. We drew our own Christmas cards, using hatching and shading skills to give added effect. We painted our 2021 calendars by creating bright, abstract spots with our hands and fingers. We also folded the net of a bauble decoration, decorated it with lots of glitter and sequins and assembled it. It was lots of fun and they have turned out great so far! We will finish them off next week.
In Maths, we continued with multiplication and division, finishing off with the 3 times table and moving onto the 4 times table.
In English, we have started to plan our final written narrative for Arthur and the Golden Rope. We are going to be using our imaginations to change the special ingredients needed for making the golden rope!
There will be no swimming on Monday 14th December. Our lessons will resume after the Christmas break on Monday 4th January 2021.
The children have made progress in Swimming this term and we thank you for your support in ensuring children have their kits every week. It is appreciated.
Here is some information for next week:
