We had a great week last week, thinking about Goldilocks and the different characters in traditional tales. Was Goldilocks bad? Or just tired and hungry? The children have been using 'because' to explain their reasoning.
We had fun learning all about doubling in maths, and we're looking forward to seeing the children show how much they've learned in choosing time this week.
Hedgehogs' attendance suffered from a lot of absences last week - only 80.2%, sadly. The Rabbits managed a good 95.8%, so very well done to them.
Hedgehogs didn't have a Learning Hero this week, so that Grace, last week's winner, could take home Oscar the teddy over the weekend. The children very kindly agreed that, as Oscar had been accidentally left the previous Friday, she shouldn't miss out.
Rabbits' Learning Hero was Gabriel. Well done!
The home learning this week is to make breakfast - it doesn't have to be porridge! We've asked the children to make sure they get an adult to help them though!
We're in the process of booking a school trip to a farm for next half term - we'll need parent/carer helpers - as soon as we have a date, we'll send a text out. Thank you.
Best wishes
